When Brook Peters set out to make his film about living through 9/11 as a child, he didn’t realize THE SECOND DAY would convey a universal story of inner strength and resilience that could inspire people around the world. In response to Brook’s Show Your Strength Campaign, over 150 young people submitted their personal stories of courage and hope. And the band Simple Plan supported the campaign by offering their song “What If”.

Award-winning Canadian rock band Simple Plan supported the Show Your Strength Campaign to inspire youth across the globe. “I approached Simple Plan to use the song What If as the soundtrack to the Show Your Strength video because I feel it makes listeners question what they can do to change themselves and, in turn, help to change the world,” said Brook Peters.

I’ve been bullied all my life, and the only thing you can take away from it is that people will always try to bring you down. You can’t let that get to you, you can’t let someone else take control of your life. Dont let people get to you, dont let anyone bring you down <3
( And yes, the SP on my arm is a real tattoo. I love you guys to death <3 )

Fear, hate, depression, pain, loss. All of these things can be conquered with love. Never give up. Thank you for everything Simple Plan. <3

“You’re stronger than you know.” “I’m going to make it and so are you.”

You rise to the challenges life confronts you with. There are so many bad things that can happen to you, sickness, betrayal by the ones you love the most, bullying etc. There are times when you want to give up, but if you just hold on, you’ll see that it gets better and in the end, those things will make you stronger.
I went through a few hard times in my life, but I didn’t give up and it was worth it. I feel so much better now.
Simple Plan’s music helped me a lot and somehow, they really saved me.
This saying is the reason for my first tattoo. I went through so much since i was 9 and i was ready to give up come my high school graduation. I had walked away from God at a young age, I was blaming him for everything that was going on. I was seeing it all as a form of punishment. Come my senior year in high school a friend showed me that He wasn’t doing that to me and ever since then i started to believe in God, and to this day Simple Plan’s music has kept me going. So remember you are never alone. Thank You Simple Plan.

I am a huge fan of Simple Plan and I want to thank these guys for making me smile with his songs so great, is why I write this sentence: Live every moment with a smile. Why waste time of your life being sad? Life is one, and you have to live with a smile …

a few months ago I lost my grandmother to a disease that I hate, I felt lousy, I wanted to die, I wondered why I hadn’t been taken away, I used all my strength, and thanks to them and to “save you” now I’m stronger than before. I want everybody to know that we must remain strong, despite everything.

To know great depression is to know great Joy. This is my personal quote that I thought about just recently. In high school, I struggled with segregation, bipolarity, and suicide. When I graduated, there was an instant where I almost committed suicide and was rushed to the hospital to get my stomach pumped. Two years later, in college, I have a published book, on my way to publishing a second one, write poetry, act, compose music, dance, and create a perfect 10 relationship with all my friends and family. I went from suicidal teen to a life coach in training, and I know every single action I do, I’m making a difference in the world. That’s what’s up. Peace!
I want to be an actress. I’ve been really close to giving up before, but it’s what I want so I’m going to do it. This is definitely one of my favourite quotes.
